I just had a sudden and pointless thought.
How come people say “counting sheep” when it comes to sleeping? How did that ever come about?
Why not “counting lambs”, “counting dogs” or “counting mice”?
Maybe it’s because sheep are all white and full of wool? Kind of like the clouds? And you know… clouds in the sky is kind of link to day dreaming… which is associated to sleeping?
Haha maybe.
